As a legislative analyst, Laura tracks and analyzes legislation for clients, drafts position letters, monitors budget, informational, legislative, and regulatory hearings, and conducts research on a variety of issue areas. She also reviews budget proposals, monitors media coverage, and tracks regulatory matters that are of interest to our firm’s clients. In addition, Laura prepares regular updates on complex policy issues, providing clients with detailed analysis and insight at key deadlines and other critical junctures in the legislative process.

Using her high level of both written and verbal communication skills, Laura effectively articulates and conveys key legislative updates to clients and lobbyists. At Kate Bell Strategies, her policy focus includes business, housing, procurement, and technology.
